Contact us- Can I upgrade my WordPress Hosting plan?
No, you cannot upgrade or downgrade from one WordPress Hosting plan to another. However, you can increase the amount of RAM and the number of CPU cores on your current plan. That gives your site more power to handle extra visitors or heavier plugins without changing plans.
- Can I add more WordPress installations to an existing plan?
No. The number of WordPress installations is fixed for each plan and cannot be increased later. If you expect to run more than one site, choose a plan that includes the number of installations you need when you order.
- Can SiteLock and CodeGuard packages be upgraded?
Not at the moment. The SiteLock and CodeGuard plans that are included with WordPress Hosting cannot currently be upgraded.
- Can I use an external email service with WordPress Hosting?
Yes, you can use any third-party email service with your domain. If you use the default nameservers provided with WordPress Hosting, please contact our support team so that we can update the relevant DNS records and your email is delivered to that service.
- Can I use an existing certificate with my blog?
No, you cannot use a certificate you already have. You will need to generate a CSR (certificate signing request) from the WordPress Hosting panel and have a certificate issued for it. The issued certificate can then be installed from the same panel.
- Will WordPress be updated automatically?
Yes. WordPress core updates are enabled by default, so your site receives new versions of WordPress automatically. Keeping WordPress up to date matters, because updates include security fixes as well as new features.
- Is there a money back period for WordPress Hosting?
No. WordPress Hosting does not have a money-back period, so please review the plan details carefully before you order. If you have questions about which plan suits you, contact us first and we will be glad to help.
- Is Multisite supported with WordPress Hosting?
No. WordPress Multisite, the feature that runs a network of sites from a single WordPress installation, is not supported on WordPress Hosting.
- Can I access the cPanel for my hosting plan?
No. cPanel access is not provided with WordPress Hosting. You manage your site from the WordPress Hosting panel instead.
- Is an SSL Certificate included with the plan?
Yes. When you purchase WordPress Hosting, a free SSL certificate powered by Let's Encrypt is generated and installed automatically for all domains associated with the package, so your site can be served over https without any setup on your side.
- What is the difference between "WordPress Hosting" and "WordPress Hosting + Security Suite" plans?
WordPress Hosting plans are economical plans without automatic backups and anti-malware protection. WordPress Hosting + Security Suite plans have the same specifications and add automatic cloud backups and anti-malware protection, for a difference in cost. Choose the Security Suite if you want those protections included.
